Challenge

Deliver flexible, reliable and portable Internet access to high-bandwidth applications at outdoor, remote or temporary locations.

Solution

Establish a fast and powerful wireless network at virtually any location with leading channel bonding technology and HSPA (3G) M2M Routers.
Wired Sky is an Australian company that designs, tests and builds high-performance Internet Protocol (IP) networks to provide anywhere, anytime, Internet access for high-bandwidth applications such as IP video, video streaming and VoIP telephony. Whether the need is to provide temporary portable bandwidth solutions for outdoor events and projects such as concerts and product launches, or to establish a powerful WiFi connection for hundreds of devices at a conference venue without existing infrastructure, Wired Sky has the technology in place to provide advanced wireless networking solutions for a variety of unique requirements.

Wired Sky’s innovative Viprinet products offer a range of Internet bonding solutions that generate increased power, performance and speed using the combined bandwidth of multiple simultaneous Internet connections. The typical 4Mbps downlink and 1Mbps uplink speeds achieved by a single 3G router are boosted by the collective bandwidth of six 3G routers to deliver greatly improved speeds of up to 35Mbps downlink and 11Mbps uplink.

Wired Sky’s Managing Director, Matt Hall, selected NetComm’s CallDirect series, HSPA M2M Routers to provide the merged bandwidth of six 3G Internet connections for a range of purposes such as in-vehicle mobile bandwidth solutions for emergency services, portable bandwidth solutions for outside broadcasts and video streaming and IPTV based entertainment solutions for public transport including busses ferries and trains.

The Viprinet range has proven to deliver unsurpassed bandwidth aggregation, functionality and flexibility; and with the support of NetComm’s HSPA M2M Routers on the Local Area Network (LAN) side of the Viprinet 1610 router will benefit from the united capacity of multiple HSPA routers that are bonded to form one large Internet pipe.
